Box of Brilliant Things

CLASSICALLY TRAINED PIANIST AND POET, WILL DREW-BATTY, PRESENTS AN ENTERTAINING EVENING OF IMPROVISED MUSIC, STORIES, HUMOUR AND CREATIVITY WITH A DIFFERENCE.
Taking random ideas from his audience he creates live pieces of music on the spot. His ‘box’ is the piano and from it he pulls out musical stories, poems, landscapes, and moods – all inspired by members of the audience. The show is interspersed with snatches of popular song , classical and original music, composed for piano; dramatic and reflective by turns.
“Will creates bold and ambitious musical works, breathing new life into stories and illuminating their narratives in exciting, compelling ways which speak to audiences with great dramatic effect.” – Polly Wright, Director of The Black Shuck Festival
Southwold Arts Centre, Saturday 24th October, 7:30pm – buy tickets here.
