Hello, this is my new website to give you a flavour of what I do as a professional musician.
I was born in a very rural part of Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border, and perhaps the ‘Land of Song’ touched my heart a little as my musical journey began with singing. I later became a cathedral chorister and went on to study music at the University of East Anglia and John Ruskin, Cambridge.
I love to embrace the different aspects of being a musician, from conducting, teaching, composing to organising and administrating events, recording and, of course, singing! I have been very fortunate to work with many interesting, kind and creative people who have encouraged and been an example to my own thinking and approach.
Whether it be in any of the branches of music that I find myself working I generally have a simple purpose; to have fun doing it, to be inclusive and to make sure that the result at the end of a teaching session, rehearsal or musically creative project is the best it can possibly be for all involved.
